Like darning an old pair of socks, artists featured in this exhibition repurpose and redefine materials and their functional associations. Showcasing a range of contemporary media, Darn it! addresses concerns of sustainability, manufacturing processes and the influence of technology. Through exploring ideas of form and function, artists transform found and traditional materials in order to open up new dialogues relevant to current practices.
