“IMPRESSIONS, IMPRINTS AND JOURNEYS”, a vibrant, visually textured and moving exhibition showcasing the artwork of International Social Documentary photographer Sherry Prenevost, opens May 1st in The Junction as part of the Scotiabank CONTACT photography festival. Opening Reception: Saturday May 5th, 6-9pm.
This exhibit examines figure, form, and texture while capturing the beauty of things not so common. Sherry has witnessed many remote and wondrous places on Earth. Her evocative photography inspires us to see beyond. Her images are energetic, moving and thought-provoking.
Sherry is a nominee for the prestigious Marty Award for Emerging Visual Artist of the Year.

The exhibition is in partnership with the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, Junction BIA, and the Gallery at Picture It Framed. The exhibit will run from May 1 – MAY 31, 2012.
